Creativity is in my blood.
When I was 4 I graffitied my whole dolls house with crayons.
When I was 9 I'd lock myself in my wardrobe and draw cartoons.
When I was 12 a friend and I made and sold stuff from her garden shed.
When I was 16 I studied design, art history, graphics and sculpture at high school.
When I was 20 I completed a Bachelor of Graphic Design at AUT, majoring in design.
I now work as a designer in publishing and have done so for the last 7ish years.

I love to screenprint. I enjoy the hand-made organic process of it and the slightly rough outcome of the ink on paper.
I was given a new sewing machine when I was newly wed.. which opened up the door to crafting. I love old school vintage blankets, doilies and bits and bobs found in op-shops, so I incorporate these things into my designs.
Making things relaxes me, sends me to my happy place and puts joy in my heart, and to see others enjoy the creations too is even more satisfying.
